Arlington, VA – April 15, 2020 – Objective Area Solutions is excited to announce that BJ Johnston has joined our Team as a Senior Consultant. BJ has more than 20 years consulting experience with Fortune 500 organizations.  His primary specialties are management consulting, executive coaching, strategy facilitation, team building, and leadership development.  Additionally, he is a retired USAF veteran with over 20 years of experience which includes avionics systems, air traffic control, and leadership development.

BJ has deep experience as change leader, coach, and leadership educator.  He is a graduate of the Georgetown’s Institute for Transformational Leadership Coaching Program.  As a one-on-one executive coach, he worked with leaders by helping them identify and change behaviors that limited them from reaching their full potential.  Additionally, he coached leaders who were promoted and transitioning into jobs with greater scope.  BJ has designed and implemented leadership development programs that increase individual leadership capacity and improve business results.  BJ is a master facilitator and has partnered with senior teams to build strategic plans for increasing employee engagement and leadership capacity.  He consults with teams at all levels to help them improve team performance and business results.  

BJ holds a degree in Professional Aeronautics from Embry Riddle University and a Master of Education in Human Resources Development from The George Washington University.  BJ also has certifications from Cornell University in Executive Leadership, Change Management, and High Performing Teams and from Darden School of Business at The University of Virginia in Executive Communications.  BJ lives in Northern Virginia with his family.
