He is a licensed commercial pilot and flight instructor in fixed-wing and helicopter aircraft. In his spare time, he enjoys recreational flying at the Leesburg Airport and spending time with his wife and two children.

Tony previously served as the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Executive Director of the Air Traffic Safety Oversight Service (AOV) from 2006 – 2017. Tony established the internationally recognized regulatory oversight program for air navigation services provided by the Federal Aviation Administration worldwide. Tony also served as the Manager of the FAA’s Air Traffic Investigations Division, the Manager of Terminal and Flight Service Operations and Procedures and has served the FAA in a variety of other air traffic control related positions over his 35-year career. He also served as an Air Traffic Control Specialist in the USAF.
Tony attended Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, majoring in Professional Aeronautics. Additionally, he is a retired USAF veteran with a wide variety of experience which includes avionics systems, air traffic control, and program management. BJ has deep experience as change leader, coach, and leadership educator. He is a graduate of the Georgetown’s Institute for Transformational Leadership Coaching Program. As a one-on-one executive coach, he worked with leaders by helping them identify and build their leadership potential.

Ryan Curry is a Senior Consultant and retired Marine Corps helicopter test pilot with over 24 years of military service. He started his service as an enlisted Marine and earned an appointment to the U. S. Naval Academy through which he was commissioned. Ryan is an Alum of the U. S. Naval Test Pilot School with flight time in over 20 aircraft and helicopters with extensive flight leadership experience with multiple operational deployments. He had the honor of being one of the first pilots to fly the new CH-53K King Stallion helicopter during the initial test flights. As a leadership consultant, coach, and instructor at the U. S. Naval Academy’s Stockdale Center for Ethical leadership he helped teams of all kinds improve communication, agility, diversity, inclusion, and positive culture, so they are more effective in reaching their goals. Ryan holds a Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level II certification from the Defense Acquisition University. He earned a Master of Arts in Leadership Studies from Marshall University and a Bachelor of Science from the U. S. Naval Academy in Political Science. A lifelong learner, Ryan is currently earning his Masters of Business Administration at the Duke University Fuqua School of Business. He lives in Annapolis, MD with his family and Giant Schnauzer, Rollo. The family volunteers with the Navy Rugby Team and sponsors several midshipmen.
Marshall is a Consultant for Objective Area Solutions and has over ten years of experience working with the Federal Government. During his tenure he has worked with multiple agencies which include the Federal Highway Administration, the Maritime Administration, and the Federal Aviation Administration. Marshall leverages his extensive background to provide creative solutions, support, and professionalism to both OAS and the Federal Government.
Marshall attended Morgan State University and obtained his undergraduate degree in Business Administration. He is an avid photographer and sports enthusiast and lives in Montgomery County, Maryland with his wife and young son.
Dave Long is a Senior Organizational Development Consultant and leadership coach with a federal government practice presently in the FAA. Dave has a background in aviation and the law, beginning his military career as an Army helicopter pilot before getting his law degree from The George Washington University Law School. Dave practiced law for 15 years in both a civilian and military capacity, both in private practice and as an Army JAG, before stepping into consulting and coaching in 2016 after obtaining a Masters degree in Organizational Leadership/Organizational Development from Regent University. Dave retired from the Army Reserves with 21 years of service in 2017 and lives with his wife, 3 kids, and dog Toby in Chantilly, VA.
A multi-faceted project management and learning and performance professional, Sharon has a record of ensuring successful talent development, employee retention, and project management practices. She has designed and implemented project management programs, leadership training, and development programs that improve performance, increases effectiveness, and drives results. Sharon epitomizes the concept of a lifelong learner. In addition to experience leading organizations through CMMI classifications and major change management initiatives, she has received numerous certifications applicable for her various roles and positions throughout her career. These include process and project certifications such as PMP, ITIL, CSM, CPM-EVM; learning and development certifications such as CPLP/CPTD and ATM; and, facilitation certifications such as EQ-i/EQ360, Everything DiSC, and DDI including DDI’s Business Impact Leadership certification.
Sharon received her Bachelor of Science in Management and Communication from UMUC and her Master of Science degree in Project Management from the University of Wisconsin. She is presently a Doctoral Candidate at the George Washington University working on her Doctorate in Education as part of their Executive Leadership Program in Human and Organizational Learning.

Benny has over 20 years of operational experiences and successes serving in consultative and leadership roles in corporate, public sector and entrepreneurial positions. His unique strengths are in the areas of organizational effectiveness, performance management, customer relationship management, program/project management, and training development and delivery. Benny is a decisive, yet collaborative and supportive team leader with extensive experience recruiting, hiring, and retaining talent. Benny has worked with a wide array of customer satisfaction assessment tools, CRM systems, and organization cultural / climate assessment instruments.
Benny earned a Bachelor’s degree from Texas State University, with Majors in Economics and Education. He has High School Teaching Certification in Economics and Social Sciences in several states (MD, VA, TX,MN, NJ). High School Public Education and Special Olympics are areas of passion. Many items are on Benny’s ‘Fun Stuff’ list, with beaches and baseball at the top. Benny lives in Columbia Maryland. He values time with his wife and three children.
Russ is a Senior Consultant and brings more than three decades of local, regional,and national experience from the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Air Traffic Controllers Association. In addition to being a retired Air Traffic Controller, he combines 20+ years of personal leadership experience and the development of dozens of new leaders with many years as an internal, then external consultant, to FAA/NATCA cultural modernization. The combination of having been both a key decision maker as well as a consultant to executives during a time of enormous change gives Russ a rare perspective into the blended leadership culture of air traffic professionals.
Russ combined studies in sociology, organizational leadership, and psychology into an undergraduate degree from the National Labor College. He is a lifelong learner and reader and watches even basketball and football with an eye for team culture. He and his wife Lynne enjoy scenic, quiet places, and playing with their first grandchild.
Sylvia has over 25 years of administrative support experience as an Executive Assistant and office management expert in both the public and private sectors. She has worked at the Veterans Administration (VA) as well as private sector organizations such as Sallie Mae, KPMG, and Coopers and Lybrand. Sylvia has been with the FAA for the last 10 years working in AJW Technical Operations, as well as in the NASEO, and then moving to AJG Management Services in December 2018.
Sylvia lives in Maryland with her husband and dog Smoke. She has two children and one granddaughter that is the joy of her life.
BJ holds a degree in Professional Aeronautics from Embry Riddle University and a Master of Education in Human Resources Development from The George Washington University. BJ also has certifications from Cornell University in Executive Leadership, Change Management, and High Performing Teams. He also holds certificate from The University of Virginia, Darden, in Executive Communications.
BJ is a board member for Buildings and Books and a volunteer for several nonprofits to include Habitat for Humanity, Toys for Tots, and Martha’s Table. He is an active supporter of veterans through American Corporate Partners and The Washington Center VET Initiative. BJ spends his free time in Northern Virginia running, motorcycling and adventuring with his family and granddaughters.BJ has more than 20 years of consulting experience with Fortune 500 organizations. Emma Devine is a Consultant for Objective Area Solutions and has over 10 years of senior management experience in the private sector spanning multiple industries, five countries, and three continents. During her work abroad she supported leadership development for local retail managers in China with Abercrombie & Fitch as well as the in-store experience with Apple in Hong Kong. Emma recently graduated with her MBA from China Europe International Business School including dual distinctions in Marketing and Digital Transformation. There, she served as President of the Women’s Leadership Club and Student Ambassador.
Emma, a native of Fairfax, Virginia, completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Delaware with majors in marketing and international business. Ryan Curry is a Senior Consultant and retired Marine Corps helicopter test pilot with over 24 years of military service. He started his service as an enlisted Marine and earned an appointment to the U. S. Naval Academy through which he was commissioned. Ryan is an Alum of the U. S. Naval Test Pilot School with flight time in over 20 aircraft and helicopters with extensive flight leadership experience with multiple operational deployments. He had the honor of being one of the first pilots to fly the new CH-53K King Stallion helicopter during the initial test flights. As a leadership consultant, coach, and instructor at the U. S. Naval Academy’s Stockdale Center for Ethical leadership he helped teams of all kinds improve communication, agility, diversity, inclusion, and positive culture, so they are more effective in reaching their goals. Dr. Nadine Alameh serves as OGC’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), and is responsible for creating and integrating the strategic direction and business plans of the Consortium in partnership with the OGC Board, members and staff.
Dr. Alameh is a seasoned technical and business professional with a contagious passion for interoperable information exchange, technology & process innovation, and working with diverse motivated teams! Dr. Alameh is no stranger to OGC. From 2009 to 2014, she was Director, then Executive Director of OGC’s Interoperability Program, leading initiatives in various domains including earth observation, aviation, public safety and defense.
Prior to rejoining OGC in 2019, Dr. Alameh was Northrop Grumman’s Chief Architect for Innovation Strategy - Civil Solutions Division. And before that, she ran a couple of small businesses: an international business delivering information management solutions in the Aviation sector; and a consulting business focusing on addressing geospatial interoperability issues for the US federal government.
Dr. Alameh is a graduate of MIT with a PhD in Computer and Information Systems Engineering, a Masters in Civil and Environmental Engineering, and a Masters in City Planning – all with specialization in Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
Neil Planzer has a long and successful career providing solutions in air traffic management and aviation. For 14 years, he served as the vice president of Aviation Infrastructure and ATM for the Boeing Company, leading a successful and profitable business unit, designing and implementing the company’s ATM pursuits. As a member of the Senior Executive Service in the U.S. Air Force Neil served simultaneously in two significant positions: Executive Director, DoD Policy Board on Federal Aviation and Director, Civil Aviation. Neil was a key adviser to the U.S. Secretary of Defense and the National Security Council after the September 11th attacks. Neil had a 25 year career at the Federal Aviation Administration including serving as the Director of the Office of Air Traffic Program Management and Air Traffic Systems Requirements Service.
Neil has developed processes, procedures and airspace solutions with Air Navigation Service Providers and their regulatory agencies across the globe. His solutions helped members of the European Union and Eurocontrol, EASA, China, Indonesia, Canada, Russia and Bermuda.
In 2010, Neil received the Air Traffic Control Association’s (ATCA) Glen A. Gilbert Memorial Award. Among the most prestigious awards in aviation, the award recognizes the outstanding, long-term achievement of an individual in the field of aviation.
Neil serves on the European Institute’s Board of Directors, Chairmen Emeritus on the ATCA Board of Directors, and served for 7 years on the Civil Air Navigation Services Organization (CANSO) Executive Committee. Neil was appointed by the Secretary of Defense and served 3 years on the FAA Management Advisory Committee. Neil also served in the U.S. Air Force. Neil and his wife Andrea are active pilots and have operated their own aircraft for 30 years.
