Mr. Hoey is a senior business strategic advisor providing strategic guidance to corporate clients with a particular emphasis on government contracting business development.
Mr. Hoey has extensive experience with government and industry. In his last role he was a business development executive with General Dynamics IT supporting business development operations focused on Space and Missile Defense community, US Army Corps of Engineers, US Marine Corps Requirements generation, Space and Missile Defense Command, Army Aviation and Missile Center, Army Materiel Command and Missile Defense Agency. He provided support to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA), Aviation and Missile Center, US Army Corps of Engineers Huntsville Center and Marine Corps Combat Development Command in a wide range of professional, IT and engineering services. He his role he developed and recommended comprehensive business plans regarding area growth, defined potential market share and opportunities for growth in Missile Defense, IT and Energy markets; identified strategic manpower requirements to meet future business needs; and, pursued key target business opportunities.
Prior to his industry experience Mr. Hoey had an extensive military career spanning almost 30 years in which he primarily focused on aviation command and control systems. In his last role on active duty, he was the Chief Information Officer for the Marine Corps. He has served as a member of the MDA Small Business Advocacy Council. He continues to act as a Mentor and Business Coach for the Woman’s Business Center of North Alabama. He holds a MS in National Resource Strategy from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces as well as DOD CIO, IA, IO and EGov Certificates from National Defense University. Additionally, he completed a Master of Science degree from Florida Institute of Technology. Colonel, USMC (Ret.)
