Objective Area Solutions Awarded Subcontract to eTRANSERVICES to Support FAA in Safeguarding American Airspace

Objective Area Solutions, LLC (OAS), a leading aviation consulting company, announced today that it has been awarded a subcontract to support eTRANSERVICES, providing technical and operational solutions for the Airspace Awareness Detection System (AADS) and the Airspace Access Program (AAP).  OAS will aid advanced software and database development, Geospatial Information System applications, testing, and operational and domain expertise.

The AADS is a real-time tracking system that combines publicly available data and unfiltered positional flight data from FAA systems to provide airspace awareness and control for government agencies whose missions are rooted in national security and protection.  The AAP is a joint-effort of FAA and TSA that provides a method for individuals to submit requests for waivers to fly aircraft within restricted airspace.
